Arrival Story:
Crumb was found as a stray by a kind family in a town near Lee's Summit. They took her to their veterinary clinic, where I met her for the first time. I felt an immediate kinship with the little dog, and told the clinic staff if the family who brought her in did not want to keep her, I would give her a home. She looks like Cookie's little sister, so her name is Crumb!

Bio:
Over the course of about six weeks, Crumb gained weight, grew her hair back, and knew she was very, very loved. In early August, she started showing signs of heart failure. Despite attempts to relieve her symptoms, she succumbed to her illness on the morning of August 12. We were so lucky to share those few short weeks with such a special friend.
