Arrival Story:
Becky and her Significant Other, Norman, were rescued by House of Puddles after being kenneled for several years in Maryland. Their mom loved them but she wasn't able to keep them with her. After they arrived they didn't seem like a bonded pair, although they liked each other. Becky is very playful and loves to give and receive kisses. In March 2008, Becky was adopted into the family of Lucien & Lilly after Lucien made an unexpected journey to the Rainbow Bridge. Lilly was very lonely and needed a companion, and since they were already bestest furends, Becky came to live with us. Becky and Lilly love to run and play and cuddle with their new family very much!

Bio:
Becky was adopted from House of Puddles, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit sanctuary for senior and special needs basset hounds and basset mixes in Frederick, Maryland. Since 2002 HOP has provided a permanent, loving home for over 40 hounds from basset hound rescue organizations. HOP's seniors range in age from approximately 10 to 18 years. Some of the health issues our hounds have faced include significant physical deformities, spinal injuries, blindness, deafness, cancer, organ failure, diabetes, arthritis, severe skin allergies, and cognitive, temperament and aggression issues. There are never enough homes for old or sick dogs. HOP helps senior and special needs basset hounds and basset mixes who have no place else to go. Visit our House online to find out how you can help these deserving old bassets. Thank you!
