Arrival Story:
I was driving home from work, about to go take a foster to a new home. I was really having a hard time. I saw a little yellow dog in a field, and stopped to see if he would come to me. I called out to him and he came trotting over. He wasn't a puppy at all, he was an adult dog but short, and so skinny. He had infected skin, his hair was falling out, his bones stuck out, his two front canines are broken off. He was in bad shape, but he was so happy and full of life! His eyes sparkled. He was comfortable from the moment he walked in. He got along with all the dogs and the cats. He cuddled in everyones lap the first night. He seemed so grateful to be in a safe house.
Bio:
Buddy has flourished from the day I found him, almost a year ago. He has a joyful personality that he exudes to every person who meets him. He escapes the yard, just so he can go meet with the neighbors and the neighborhood dogs. Then he trots home and scratches on the door to be let in. He is beautiful and gets compliments wherever he goes. He loves all other animals. He will going running up to any dog, trying to make friends. He is so gentle with all kinds of small animals, including new born kittens and baby pet rats.
