Hotdogs.

Sit, paw, roll over (he would only roll over partially), speak, hup, touch, leave it, stay.

Arrival Story:
We were looking for a dog, and went to the SPCA to see what they had. They didn't really have what we were looking for, until we took an excited big hound dog in the back in a fenced yard to see how the dog's personality was. There was another fence next to us, and in that fence, was a small beagle shepherd mix named Loki. My mother seemed interested in the big hound, but I was looking at the dog on the other side of the fence. Once the hound noticed Loki, she went up to the fence to sniff the dog, but Loki growled at her. That brought Loki to my mother's attention, and we both decided we wanted to see him 'in action'. They said we couldn't walk him though because he hadn't been evaluated, so we watched them evaluate him. His temperment was good, you could tell he was dominant and did not like to be under anyone. He tolerated the hand in the food to an extent, until it bothered him a little. He loved to play, was not toy aggressive, and did fine with cats. That was enough to convince us tp adopt him. But since he was a stray when they found him, we had to wait a while to see if his owner would come looking for him. When no one clamed him, we came, picked him up, brought him home, and named him Spencer.

Bio:
I was watching basketball, the day he came home, and was trying to figure out what to name him. I heard the announcer say "And her comes Spencer" I liked the sound of that, and decided he was defenitally a Spencer.

Spencer lifted up the lives of many, many people...
He helped me through life when it was tough, he stuck by me at the worst of times... and even when I was mad at him, he was still loving me. He was such a wonderfull dog! He had never shown any signs of aggresion towards any personin his life, and in the whole 8 months that we had him, he only chewed 2 things! He was such a good dog. I could trust him with ANYTHING! He was very talented and easy to train. He loved to work fur food. I had to think long and hard about new things I could teach him to keep his brain active and happy!

Spencer was very afraid of Thunderstorms, loud noises, and kittens BOL.
We got him from the charlottesville SPCA... and I'll never forget the day we walked him, and when it was time to go home.. and the staff member had to put him back in his cage, she had to drag him in, and before he dissapeared behind the kennel wall, i remember seeing his eyes saying "Take me home!" He had defenitally caught my heart then! And, obviously, I did take him home :) and I never once regretted that.
About 8 months after I'd had Spencer, Spencer recieved a blow to the head by a car at full force and bled to death... I miss him so much! I miss him uniqe way of wagging his tail like a hellocopptor propeller! and his funny beagle nose always into somthing! I miss Spencer so much, i thought I would die the day Spencer did... but I found another way to replace my pain fur him, and that's Sadie =]

♥Always missing my baby, ♥

We got spencer when he was two years old. We had him for about one year, when he assed away. He was taken away from us way too young! And now, the story of how he died...........

Spencer was born to run free, one of the nick names we used to call him, was Hudini, because he always found at least one way to out of his pen, our house, on the leash, you name it!! Well, one day he was on the run line, and slipped out of his collar. He went strait to our nieghbor's home (because they have six dogs) Where our Nieghbor let him inside. He called my dad, and told him that Spencer was over there. When my dad came to pick Spencer up, Charlie (our nieghbor) said he had gotten away when he opened the door. so they called his name and looked and looked, no sign of him at all. so my dad went home. It was almost 6:30, and my dad was in his office on the computer, when he saw Spencer running across the rode towrd home. My dad went out side to get him, but before he fininshed crossing, a car came out of no where, and hit him right in the head, he died instantly, with no time for pain. We took him in our back yard, and burried him. it was such a sad time for us all, I never amagined we would only be able to be with him for one year, if even that.

Well, that's the story, as clear as it gets.
