Still The Wild Child

Hmmm, mom hired a dog trainer and today was our first session. Trainer Barb came to the house and I was really good. Maybe one day I won't be the "Wild Child"??? BOL!!

It's my birthday!

Wow, I got a cool email from Dogster.
They knew it was my birthday! BOL!
Woof woof! They wished me a very Happy Birthday full of love and joy and tail wagging. How nice is that?!? I'll even be profiled today with other birthday doggies on Dogster's special Birthday Stroll. Dogster loves me! :-)


Mom placed a huge internet order of dog toys and treats and said it will arrive today. I can hardly wait to see what it will be!

Lost but never forgotten

Riff, Rudy Mack and I grieve with our human family as our beautiful 18 year old boy took his own life Monday, March 17, 2008.

I expect we won't be around much for a while.

We wish all our friends safety and health until we return.

Whew! I heard Mom say the decision is final, I get to keep my ears!!
I'm ssssoooooo relieved! They had my brother Rudy Mack's ears cropped but I have such cute floppy ears Mommy was able to convince Daddy that I should keep them. Daddy likes cropped ears and Rudy Mack was their first schnauzer. Daddy insisted his ears be cropped. Mom's been working on him and he's beginning to loosen up. I'm sure glad I was second and not first!

Also, even though Mom wanted me to be neutered at four months (next week!!), the vet talked Mom into waiting until I'm six months old. She said that sometimes smaller dogs have trouble losing their teeth. By waiting, the vet can check my teeth and pull any if needed when I'm six months old.

WooHoo!!! Maybe by the time I'm six months old I can convince Mommy I'd be a good Daddy and no snip, snip!! BOL!!!

I'm a big boy now!!

Sing it with me now...you know the tune..."I'm a big boy now!!" BOL!!
Mommy got us a ride and we went to the vet today. I FINALLY broke 5 lbs!!
I am 14 weeks and weigh 5.6 lbs, I'm a big boy now...

Mom keeps telling the vet I'm still a little spitfire, whatever that is...but both vets came in to see me and said that even though I will be small, I am now looking very healthy. ;-D

Woo hoo, arrrroooo, arrroooo, I'm a big boy now!! BOL!!

BTW, I am potty trained, I can jump from the ottoman to the couch (22-24") and I am doing very well learning to lick, not chew/bite. I listen to Mommy now and am starting to learn to follow commands. AND, Mommy finally found a collar small enough for me so since I got my last puppy shots, I can learn to go for a walk to the park with Mommy & Rudy Mack. WooHoo!!

1. I jump up & down like I'm on springs. Mom says "Watch the white bouncing ball!"
2. I surprise Mom by taking off any second she's not watching and have already explored the whole house, even the upstairs! I'm VERY curious!
3. I think I have to be chewing/biting ALL the time. My human family is trying to convince me that I shouldn't chew on them but I like to chew! Faces, noses, fingers, toes, it all tastes good! :-)
4. I love my brother Rudy Mack #551213. I chew on him the most but he still loves me!
5. I am very independent. If Rudy Mack goes outside/inside I may or may not follow him.
6. I have to be coaxed to finish my food. I get distracted easily!! Mom says I'm ADD, whatever that is...
7. I like my crate and go to it to rest any time I feel like it.

AND... I love being on Dogster and making new pup pals!
