Well the 4th has come and passed and I think I have made my humans so proud of me. The day passed like any other but at night is when the fun started. I accompanied my humans into the front yard as we sat down to watch the pretty glittering lights. We joined our neighbors as my humans set off their own lights and loud noises. I did so good. Tne loud bangs and booms did not bother me nor did all of the cascading lights all around me. I was a good girl and sat by my mommies side most of the time, quietly watching with my family or chewing on my rawhide. As the evening wore on I became too tired to even watch and drifted off to sleep.
Normally I like to meet and greet anyone who I pass or passes by me but I know my mother would like me to have more control over myself. I made her proud by patiently watching the people that passed on the sidewalk as they went by. It was hard though, I will admit that I couldn't help but inch forward toward these people as they passed, but I did so good. I know I made my mommy proud because she told me so. She said I was such a good girl. That made me feel so loved.
