This week, many of you have followed the story of my friend, Einstein, in the Pets That Love Fun thread. For those who don't know, the short version of a terrifying story is that Einey gobbled up a corn cob that he found outside. To put it bluntly, it nearly killed him.
But everyone put their prayers and Power of the Paw together for Einey, and he sends you his thanks and tells you his story below.
Einey is not a Dogster...yet...but you all loved him anyway, and for that, Momma and I thank you.

Hello Abby, Miss Kathy and all my “new friends”,
It’s Einey here, finally back in the comfort of my family and home. I want to take this opportunity to thank you so much for all the thoughts and prayers that came my way during my illness/hospitalization.
I don’t think I even realized how sick I really was until I saw my Momma and my brothers so upset. I saw my Momma and my brothers crying and I was so sick that I couldn’t even lick their tears…..that’s pretty sick. When Momma took me to this far away strange place, I was afraid but I knew that she was doing all of this “strangeness” to help me.
When they took me into the operating room, I was so scared, but yet I could feel all your thoughts and prayers surrounding me. It made me feel better and gave me the strength that I so desperately needed. The doctors and assistants were so kind and gentle with me but none the less I couldn’t help thinking about Momma and the boys crying back at home. I knew I had to be brave and strong and endure all that was coming my way……I did….and now I’m back home…..yippeeeee!!!!
To all my four legged friends out there that held vigil for me while I was “out of it”……..a word of warning….PLEASE, be careful when you’re out on your walks and encounter things that look “appetizing”. Don’t do it, especially if your Mom says “NO”; it’s for your own good. I learned my lesson the very hard way and if my Mom had not realized the severity of my illness in the knick of time, I wouldn’t be here writing to you today.
So again, thank you so much for all your kind thoughts and prayers. It really pulled me through and now I’m back home with my family. I still have several days before I’ll be myself again but at least I got a second chance. I’m sporting an 11” cut down my stomach, with many staples that I just wish I could get at, but I’m going to try and be good and heal properly. I sincerely hope that none of you will ever have to endure such trauma.
I love you all from the bottom of my heart and rest assured I’ll be in on this “dogster loop” should any of you ever need my and my family’s support. We are forever grateful for friends such as you all.
I’ll keep in touch and let you know how I’m progressing back to health. From my wet nose to yours…….

1. What color is your collar? My collar is sage green/brown paisley. At night time, I sleep naked, though!
2. What kind of food do you eat? I eat Science Diet, but Momma is looking at Wellness Blend so I might change. I get homemade biscuits and sometimes cheese and tiny nips of other food.
3. What are your favorite treats? The homemade applesauce/oatmeal cookies that momma makes for me!
4. Do you have a Valentine or significant other?? My Mommy is first, and then my friends Sadie and Maggie. Of course, all of my PTLF pals are my valentine!
5. Do you get Table Scraps? Just little nips every now and then.
6. What is your favorite toy? Anything I can pelt!
7. When is your Birthday?...Oct. 6 and I will be 5.
8. How many times a day do you get to eat? Twice.
9. Do you have a favorite color? Tan, white and black...oh wait...that's ME!!!
10. Do you hope all your pals put this in their diary? I do, but I know not everybody has time.
