zippity do da - zippity aeh!

My oh my what a beautiful day! Its spring here in New Jersey. The folks have been taking us to an old school field that is enclosed and letting us run and play ball. Its great. I think its also helping me loose some of this baby fat... There's another kid in the house this morning. My human brother had a friend sleep over and we all had a blast! Life is so good. Freeway

yukky rain..

Its too wet and windy outside. I don't like my paws gettin' wet but hey I still had to go, so out I went. (I think my brother Bo went somewhere in the house cuz he refuses to step out the door).

uh oh, I got thru the fence....

I got thru the fence this morning. I didn't go anywhere though. Mom found me sitting right next to it crying. I couldn't find my way back in. She still can't figure out how I did that. It was a little scary for me.

morning dr visit

Hi! Dad took me back to the vet that "fixed" me at the shelter back in early july. mom says I'm not healing fast enough. He was nice to me and said I was ok and gave me some pills. I like pills cuz mom puts them in bacon or cheese! Everything was ok until I threw up in the truck on the way home. Mom thinks its because I saw the old "jail" I was in before my new family saved me. I got nervous because I love my new home and brother Bo soo much and don't ever want to leave. Mom was waiting for me at the front door and made her squeally sounds and kissed me all over. I think dad was jealous cause she never acts like that with him... Dad even stopped at a yard sale on the way home and picked up 2 stuffed animals for me and Bo. I'm so happy to be back home. Update -8/15

Ahh sweet life....everything is great. I still have some issues with someone standing in a doorway with the light behind them, it terrifies me for some reason, but Mom, Dad and Anthony just love me real hard when that happens. Yesterday we went to the vets because my stitches from when I was "fixed" at the pound never dissolved like they were supposed to. There was one that was still sticking out and it was like a hard little piece of steel - owwl! This was my first official vet visit since I've been home and it went well according to mom. Of course everyone made a fuss over me, I only weighed 11 lbs when I was adopted, now I weigh 17.5 ! Mom says ok, thats enough extra feeding now - don't want a doggie that can't run and play because its overweight!! My brother Bo has been wonderful to me. We play and have so much fun together. We played already today so now its nap time. Take care pup pals - go grab a toy! Freeway

My new "brother" is teaching me how to do this.....I can't believe this place. They feed me all the time, they walk me, there are toys. last night I even slept next to the two legged female bitch of the house. I'm in heaven. I have arrived! Later gators - Freeway
