Arrival Story: Snickers was a surprise puppy for my aunt and uncle, from the ancient stray they adopted a few years ago. Being that she was such a naturally well-behaved dog, they figured they didn't need to train Snickers, he would just learn from his mom. Well, soon enough they had a 70 lb terror on their hands, who just wanted love and attention, but would seek it by destroyed anything he could get ahold of. They kept him outside almost all the time because of this, and when he was inside, he was not allowed anywhere but the kitchen. I mentioned that I would love to take him if they wanted to find him a new home someday, and a few days later he was mine. Once he was in a home where he was a member of the family, allowed in the living room (but still not on the couch), and given lots of love and attention (and some basic obedience training), he turned into a perfect gentleman. He graduated from his crate after a few months, and is now completely trustworthy to roam the house of his own accord, all day and night. He also loves his new little sister, Zula.
