What I Love the Most
By Hope

1) I love having a real home, all my own with people who love me. Nothing in the whole wide wold beats being loved and cared for!

2) I love Elvis, my ex-boyfriend, even though we don't hang out anymore. And my sister, Foxy, the wild one. And Rasta, who introduced me to my people. They will always be my pack.

3) I love food, all food, any food. Especially good food, people food, dog food, fed every day in large amounts food that's delivered to me so I don't need to hunt for it ever again.

4) I love sleeping on the bed every single night and lounging on the sofa all day long. It's good to be queen.

5) I love Jack who drove to the field every day for 3 years to feed me and who, when the dog catchers got me, came to rescue me forever. He's my hero. I'm his girl.

I tag my Dogster pals Ralph, Tula, Mama, Lord Nelson and Hope. Now please tell me what YOU tove.
And thanks Titus for tagging me!

I know some of you are saying "Chow-chow?! She don't look like no chow-chow!" BUT, my tongue is BLACK. Real black. Blackish purple, chow-chow black so somewhere down a long line somebody's chow-chow got out of the yard...

Allow me to introduce myself: I am HOPE. Some folks also call me TAXI. That's because I used to live at the cabstand at the hotel and if anyone whistled and yelled: Taxi!, I'd come running. Because I'm a super nice and friendly girl of course and also because I was hoping to get some food. A chicken bone to keep Hope alive so to speak. I am a stray, a mutt you could say, mixed breed. Maybe a mongrel you could call me. But being a beautiful Bahamian dog of uncertain parentage, I a referred to here as a POTCAKE. That is local terminology.
I've been left to live on my own devices for a number of years and have been all in all quite lucky or successful in finding people that like me enough to toss me their leftover lunch on a regular basis. So I've survived.
But the rough life is over now, baby! I've been ADOPTED! I have a HOME--a PACK of my own!!!
I WON, I WON! The peeps that have been supplying the ALPO over the last 3 years on their way to and fro found out the dogcatcher nabbed me and so they came down to the Humane Society and SAVED ME! My heros. I have a great family now--3 other dogs and 2 bi-peds and we all sleep in the same big bed. Life is grand. We go for walks. We take trips to the beach. We eat practically ALL THE TIME! I am in love with Mom. Dad rocks too.
I smile and smile.
