Well today I went to visit this nice lady at a new building, so of course, I had to jump on her. Either way, I got this shot thing and it didn't hurt a bit! I didn't even feel it as they were scratching my other side!

Afterwards I got a treat and so I was more than happy and will be happy to go back again in 3 weeks!

Well, today my daddy takes me to another place! I believe it to be a 'family reunion' for his family! This should be interesting since it is in a park!! I'm sure I will have tons of fun and I will post more in regards to this later!

July 26th, 2007

Well, I have fully adapted to my new home. I even got a roomy sleeping area (which usually involves the humans bed....at their heads). It tends to get a little warm here, but that's okay because they make sure that I have a fan that keeps me cool...just like me!

I still am adjusting to having a harness on me, but I'm sure that I will eventually realize it is not there and not worry about it. And even though I don't think my human knows (Human: Yes, I KNOW!), I occassionally drag a boot into the kitchen to play tug-o-war with!

I am excited as I will be going through some classes next month, and I really look forward to it! I will get to meet a whole bunch of new pups and humans!

Well, today my human learned how cold my nose can be when I stuck it into his sides to wake him up! Did I also fail to mention that I was just outside with my other human to do my daily wake up routine?

I never heard someone scream so loud!

Although, I was kind of bad and bit him in the side as well, so he wasn't to happy with that and told me that I wasn't allowed up on the comfy stuff for the rest of the day. He also stated no treats. Guess that is what they call tough love.

Guess that will learn me for doing that. Oh well, in the meantime, the humans state I can only have this short time on here to write and play a bit, but I'm still grounded, so I will leave you all for now!

Well, here I am, all puckered out again by my humans. I didn't realize that they can be as energetic as me! Although I have done some 'no-nos' in the living space, and they do punish me by ignoring me, I know that they love me! They do pay lots of attention to me, especially when I'm being good!

I've learned a couple new tricks too! Oh yes, when the daddy that brought me in makes certain hand signals, I know what to do! I am still learning the 'stop' command, but I am catching on quickly by learning that when they say that and I continue, then I get no attention!

The hand signals I know right now are sit and lay down! When I do these when these signals are given, then I get a VERY yummy treat! I get very happy when this happens and I also get lots of attention too!

I hope I will learn more soon! In the meantime, I am going to lay down and take a nap for now, as they tuckered me out!

Day 3 - Kyra Makes Time For Fun!

Update from the new home!

I have made time for play! This means chewing up anything that isn't puppyfied in this place. The humans don't punish me as much as I thought they would, which makes it good. They do reprimand me when I am bad though and then take away my chewies.

I do like playing tug-o-war with my daddy and then he takes me out to run and gives me treats when I do this thing called 'sit'! I like getting treats!

Night times are still sometimes lonely as they wish for me to sleep on the floor. They have caved in a bit and let me sleep on the bed, but for some odd reason I do not think this will be lasting very much longer as I heard one of my daddies say that they plan on doing obedience training soon!

Anyway, time for me to go terrorize my current daddy until the next daddy comes home! I might take a nap soon, but in the meantime, my rawhide calls!

PS - did you realize it's fun to make a fort out of pillows, grab a chewie and then hide inside the pillows? It's great fun!

SHE'S HERE!!!!!!!!!

She's too pooped to write, so I'll do it for her. Albeit the really warm weather, she made it home! Right now she is at the foot of the couch, with the fan on, she is stretched out dreaming. It took about 3 hours over what we were originally planning, she was WELL worth the wait! She was happy when she got here, misses her mommy, but overall, she is a happy puppy.

Yes, it's 1:42 am here and I'm awake, eagerly awaiting for the hour in which this pup comes into my life. Sleep? Bah, time for that afterwards!

Anywho, expect another post in this diary today once she is here and expect some new photos too!

ALMOST TIME!!!

Okay, can't help it (and yes, this is the human talking), she is only TWO DAYS away from coming to her new home! I'm so extremely excited it's almost not even funny! I wish it was that time NOW!

From what I understand from the person I am getting Kyra from, she has been an EXTREMELY good pup which is great! I knew she would be the moment I set eyes on her!

I celebrated the 4th of July here by watching the fireworks and thinking as the holiday as a celebration of me to be soon getting her and the world was celebrating her arrival into our household soon.

Anywho, enough human babble, look forward to MAJOR updates to here on the 9th!!!!
