My boyfriend and I had always wanted a Basenji. One day my boyfriend called me from work saying that there was a Basenji for sale in the newspaper (what are the odds!). I called and called all morning trying to get a hold of the owner. We made arrangements to come see her later that night and bought her on the spot.
Bio:
Tanga is now almost 12 years but still full of life. She gets random spurts of energy and spins circles, however, still refuses to play with our 2.5 year old- Helix. Metinga, unlike Helix, is a little more stand-offish when it comes to meeting new dogs.

It has been a very long time since I have been on here. My mom has discovered "Facebook" and like all those who have gone before her, .... has become addicted. Hopefully she will let me get on here a bit more now.....
