Saw something neat in the yard today, on my fence post there was a really big rat.
It was pale and furry, with a long pink tail.
I barked at it but it didn't dqueak or anything.
Well, next thing I know Daddy came at it with a broom and knocked it off the fence post.
He called it a "possum", I guess that's a new kind of mouse.

Mommy took me to the vet today to get my teeth cleaned (again).
When I woke up my snout really hurt and they shaved some fur off my paw.
I miss my fur.
Mommy said they had to remove 4 teeth. This makes 12 teeth in total.
I miss my teeth.
Mommy will have to soften my food in water for a few days. I kind of like that, it's like it releases flavor crystals!
Mommy gave me some great medicine tonight, and my mouth doesn't hurt any more. I'm really sleepy though, but I'm getting lots of pets and sympathy.

This is turning out to be the worst week of my life!
My daddy has a backpack that he lays on the kitchen floor, and I like to rub my nose on it and nest on it.
Well, my mommy was sitting next to me and suddenly heard me screaming. She thought my sister Peaches was fighting with me, but she was nowhere around.
Mommy saw me on the backpack and thought maybe I had hurt a tooth or something because I was rubbing the side of my head on the backpack.
When she got closer she realized that I had caught my eyelid in the zipper! I yiped and pulled, and this made mommy yipe too.
She got some scissors and cut away the part of the backpack where the zipper was, and I was left with the little pull piece of the zipper hanging from my eyelid. Mommy carried me upstairs and got my carrier and put it in the car to take me to the vet. Just as she was putting me in the carrier the zipper part fell off. Then I felt better and stopped screaming.
Mommy padded my eye with cold water and wiped off the blood and I guess I look okay now. I can still see fine and it doesn't hurt anymore. Mommy will take me to the vet tomorrow morning, just in case.

I had another accident today. Mommy threw my toy to fetch and when I turned around I ran into the wall. I yiped and walked a little funny for a minute. Mommy started yelling about "concussion" and '"brain damage", but after a couple minutes I was fine. It sure made my snout tingle!

I ate something bad today. There was some clover in garden I wanted to snack on, but it came right back up. Twice. Then three more times on the carpet. Daddy thought that my sister Peaches had peed so he put he outside. When mommy came home she asked why Peaches was outside, and daddy told her, but then I threw up again and mommy knew the mess on the carpet was puppy puke. Then I threw up two more times and finally felt much better. Nothing a treat can't fix! Of course, daddy and mommy pulled up all of that delicious clover in the yard.

Well, after my vet visit the place where they gave me the shots swelled up to the size of a golf ball. I didn't have an allergic reaction, but it hurts when people pet me there. It's getting back to normal now, it's like a hard little rock. Mommy gives me lots of treats to make up for it.

Mommy took me to the vet today for my annual physical. They gave me vaccination shots, then they gave me a shot of Benadryl so I wouldn't react to the other shots. They also expressed my anal sacs, and I yiped!
Why would humans want to do that? People are crazy. Maybe they can give my mommy a shot so she won't want to give me any more shots! Sorry, I'm just venting, must be the Benadryl talking.

Mommy's back!! We were sleeping when she came and knocked on the door to pick us up. While she was gone my sitter had some friends over and us pups had to stay in the bedroom. I wanted to be part of the action, so I tried to dig under the door, and when it wouldn't open, I pulled up the carpet fibers from the hall carpet. Mommy said the ball of carpet was as big as I am! She seemed upset, and had to give the sitter money to pay for "dammage". I guess that's another word for delicious carpet! Anyway, we're going home now and I'm happy!

Mommy and daddy went to "Flor-duh" to see my Auntie Nereia, Uncle Jason, and my canine cousins, Helmut and Heidi. Mommy left me and my sister, Peaches, with a sitter in the area who volunteers for the rescue organization where they adopted Peaches from. She has another chihuahua here named Finster, who only has one eye. He growls at me but I don't care. they have a big yard with lotsof things to pee on.

My new year's resolution is to seek out new and more comfortable spots to sleep in. I also promise to bark more when my humans leave the house.
After all, I am pack leader, and I say who can leave the pack and when!
