Katrina video

Well it took Mama Bean quite a while to figure it out, but she was finally able to add the YouTube video to my homepage. This video is of Camp Catrina, and just a small amout of pictures of some of the pets the volunteers were able to rescue from that awful disaster in New Orleans. I kept bugging Mama for a long time to hurry up, and get the video up and running as it shows everyone why its not a good idea to leave your fur kids behind. After all i am the moderator of the Animals in disaster group, and i thought it an important video. I hope that everyone who views it will come away thinking that they really need to get their grab and go bags, shopping lists, and first aid supplies packed and ready just in the event. I want all of my animal friends, (even the cats) to be safe, and well out of harms way.

Hello Everyone

Well my mom finally decided she had enough of my whining, and started my diary. It sure took her long enough. But enough about her, and more about me. My name is Toy, or Toy-Toy, or The Reptile, depending on how mad my mom is at me. I live on an acreage in Beautiful BC, Canada, with my human mom, my mom, Oreo, my half brother Midnight, the rescue Pepper, and the Rockin' Rotti, Cindar, whom I love to torment. ;) I am spoiled rotten, as my human mom simply adores me, as I was not expected to survive my birth, so I am a very special pup, and she calls me her miracle baby. I am now six years old, and of course if there is any trouble to get into, I am usually the first, but have learned that I can give the look, and usually get away with it. This of course does not always work, and mom will give me a time out occasionally, but that's ok, as I love her anyway's. She has to work a lot now to make ends meet, since my human daddy passed away, and I really miss having her home all the time. She could do that before as they ran a business from the home, but after daddy passed away, she had to close it. Its been a hard adjustment, we are doing ok, but mom still cries a lot, and I do my best to comfort her.
Well I should go now, as I know that mom will be passing out the cookies pretty soon, then its off to bed for us as mom gets up so early to go to work.
Thanks for reading a little of my life, and I hope to get more entries posted before too long.
I am so glad that mom found this site as it gives us a chance to make some new friends, and we can all have some fun here.
