Candi got her Wings!

This is a joyous day. Candi got her wings. Thanks to Caffrey for the wonderful picture. My baby is really an Angel now. Thank you Thank you Thank you.

Candi was Mom's first dog, long before the rest of us. Mom got her after she divorced her first husband and was on her own. She saw her at a flea market, she didn't have any fleas though. She was up for sale, the last pup, $10. What a bargain. Candi went on to be a great dog. Mom remarried and Candi adored the man. They had a son and Candi was watch dog of the baby. Making sure he didn't roll off the blanket. Mom threatened her, "Do not bite the baby, ever." So Candi decided to be his protector. Candi watched the boy grow, and Candi got older. Along came another boy 10 years later, but Candi was too old, had gotten blind and gone deaf and didn't know the baby existed. Mom decided she was not having a good life and sent her off to be put to sleep. Candi is our angel too. She and Emmy are playing at the rainbow bridge. Candi, we miss you, we love you sweet girl.
