Arrival Story: After buying our new shop and the other 3 kids not wanting to spend the day there with mum, she decided that she wanted someone to keep her company down there, so she looked online and found me!
My dad wasnt keen on her getting another kid, but once he met me he got all mushy (according to mum).
I had to fly down from Auckland to Wellington all on my own, but I was a brave kid and arrived to a cold city to meet my dad for the first time, then we had to drive 2 hours before I could meet my mum and my new brothers and sisters.
I was a little scared to start with, but after lots of cuddles and a few treats I felt right at home.
Mum now takes me to work with her each day, I have a special bag with a sheepskin pillow and wheatbag so I keep warm cos we dont go in a car .. we go on a Scooter!! Its great fun! Well, I have been at my new home for a week now, still getting my new mum and dad trained, but I only have mum to deal with through the week so its not too hard.
Mum said that dad is a softie, originally I wasnt supposed to be allowed to sleep on the bed, so she bought me a cosy bed to go next to the bed, but the first night I was here dad put me on the bed (even tho it was him that said I wasnt supposed to be on there lol).
Mum has bought me a bag, with a sheepskin mat and a wheatbag so that she can take me to work with her each day on the Scooter. It was a little scary on the first day, but now its great, and I dont get cold because she heats up the wheat bag and puts on my new little green tartan jacket so Im really cosy in the bag.
I got lots of attention in the shop... but I was a little scared so I stayed behind mum.
Dad came home last night and he treated me and my brothers and sisters to sausages.
Today I stayed at home with dad while mum went to work and played with my brother and sisters (Mayday is not really the most playful brother). Baer is still not too happy with me, but mum says she is the same with everyone. But I am liking my big brother Jedi, I follow him round a lot and Gizmo isnt too bad, mum is hoping that we will get along really well when I grow up .. I dont know tho .. she is such a girl.
