Arrival Story:
Hailey was adopted from a local rescue group in October 2004. She was a welcome addition to our family. Dylan couldn't stop licking her face.
Bio:
When Hailey came to live with us she had a lot of issues. She had been abandoned at a local animal shelter in the middle of the night by an unknown source. She was severely underweight. She was infested with fleas, mites, and lice. Her skin was so diseased, her coat was in patches, and her skin was blotchy, and red, and drove Hailey crazy because it itched so much. Her ears were very infected with mites. I am happy to report she had a new lease on life the moment she joined our family. She is completely recovered from her horrible skin and coat ordeals. She is a beautiful, happy (okay she has a case of separation anxiety, and a huge need for affection, and love) almost normal Labrador Retriever. She does not look like the same dog that came to join our family.
