Ma & pop know that we are dawgs, and in a way they never want to take that away. Candy is 7 yrs old, and still very frisky. Dang Heck Almightly she is my best play mate. Ma is now watching us and Goliath has to be more polite to her. (He just mows her down.) What me? I just wait until she lies down and then...

Help, My dear friends we need HELP!!!!

First and formost, Boy have I missed all of you. I (we) think of you all the time. And we STILL LOVE LOVE LOVE YOU - BIG TIME xoxoxo
However, we have a pressing need.
Our Dear, Sweet Candy
Gulp
has hip dysplasia. A very advanced case (left hip).
The ol' girl was having a hard time walking a couple of weeks ago. Ma & pop thought it was because it was our rainy season. The rain stopped, but her limping did not. Off to the vet.
Very bad x-ray.
Vet says surgery...
And YES ma & pop would "gladly" do so.
But they have talked to a couple of friends who have had this surgery, and their folks kinda say that because their sweet baby had to be contained for so long that it kind of took the heart out of their babies. One friend said that if he had to do it again that he probably wouldn't.
Let me say that Candy can still jump up on the bed and can run like the wind if a bad juju should be lurking in the yard. She doesn't do it like she use to, but she gets around. Ma & pop have upped her meds (like the vet said) and she doesn't "seem" to be in a LOT a pain.
We (ma & pop) go to see the surgeon on Monday the 16th.
Please share with us anything you know, ANYTHING! Ma & pop want to have plenty of questions to ask the surgeon.
PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!

Lawers and such.
4 hours a day, 5 on Tuesdays. She says it's ok. How cool can it be working for lawers???? Anybody ever seen "Jaws"?

The dreaded tomatoes are growing like mad. The snails that I throw in there very couple of days are doing their magic. Demon would be proud. Ma hates them, BIG TIME. She goes out every morning and picks them and then... buries them. Will karma haunt her??? So don't go and tell her that I have been putting them in there. I would be in so MUCH trouble. shhhh

Pop and Goliath are fine as frog hair. Things are picking up for pop. He has to go to work tomorrow, a kitchen remodel. Goliath is getting very gray, he must be from pop's side of the family.

It was super hot in June and the first part of July, and you know (I think you know, ma is going through that hehehehe change of life) so it has been HELL for her. She sweats like a over worked horse. hehe she would kill me if she knew I had said that.

And that's my life so far my DEAREST friends. Please know that I am with you in spirit.

And if you have sec here or there, could you please cross your paws for Candy. Thank You xoxoxoxo

P.S. I think Candy is getting more loving and treats than me and Goliath, don't know for sure.

Spring??? It's almost Summer

HELLO my beloved friendpups, it is I Kirbo the Turbo. What's kicking? I'm holding my own. We're all doing really good.
Candy is her own sweet self, and Goliath is still a 100 lbs of black lab. Pop is working and Ma is done with the Census. It didn't last as long as they said it would. But ma doesn't care cuz it's HOT outside. Ma said she liked the work but it did put a strain on the old chrysler. Stopping and starting, stopping and starting. Ma said that she found out that people were a lot nicer than she thought they would be, she only ran into a couple of meanies and one screw ball. Most people would invite her in and offer cold water or pop. Ma was surprised at this. But now it's over and she has to start looking for another job. Actually that's why we're up here at grandpop's using his computer. Ma was trying to fill in an application and our computer went down. So here we are up at grandpop's.
It's getting hot here, it was 90 yesterday, probably be 90 again today. Ma keeps saying we have a bath coming up. I don't see it, but then again I DON"T GO LOOKING FOR IT!!!
Ma & pop took us out for a ride last Sunday. But it was already hot when we started and we didn't stay out too long. Ma says Pop doesn't do good rides, I tend to agree. She said we could go to the mountains this weekend, that's where all the cool stays.
Well my beloved pups, I know I don't write enough. But every night me and ma think about ALL of you and we hope that you're all doing mighty fine.

Hello my name is Kirby

I live in Albuquerque.
OH you remember me?
I've been gone for so long, I thought I might have to introduce myself again.
Gosh dang almighty I have missed all of you. I hope every pup is fine as frog hair. We're all doing real good. We could be doing better if our lazy ma would wind-up the computer a little more often. We sure hate this stupid computer. Why just typing this little paragraph has made it freeze up once already. But we are going to be persistent.
Spring is here. The trees have leaves once again and some of ma's flowers are blooming. As usual ma has started working in her garden. Our grandpop lent us his rototiller. Ma was all gun-oh to till it up, until pop reminded her that there was probably toads still hibernating. So they went and dug a couple of holes and sure enough there was a LOT of toads still sleeping. So they had to leave sleeping toads lay. But after a couple of weeks ma said she couldn't wait any longer. So her and pop took the rototiller and started working the garden. OOPS yes there were still toads. Ma scooped up a couple and moved them to the roses. Unfortunatly... one didn't make it. Pop buried it by the rose bushes. RIP little toad...
So now ma has to wait for the stupid chinese elms to go to seed (do any of you guys have those stupid trees?) We have a lot. She covered the garden with plastic in (big) hopes that not that many seeds will make it into the garden. You know this is so el stupido that ma makes such a big pow-wow over growing killer tomatoes. What's the big deal about "home grown tomatoes?" that's what I want to know. I will keep you updated on the pesky things.
Ma and pop also planted us some grass, you "know" the kind you lay on. It looks like dirt still, but we all have our paws crossed.
So what else is new?
Lets see..
Finally! ma got a new job. She is going to be an enumerator. That's right folks, she's gonna count people. She could stay home and count beans or matchsticks, but NO she is gonna go out and count people. And she doesn't even like people all that much. What can I say she crazy KooKoo. That gig doesn't start until April 27.
Candy and Goliath are both good. They had to go the vet a month back to get rabi shots and I got to stay home all by myself! And I was a real good pup. I watched tv and then I went outside and took a nap. I have to go to the vet real soon too, but pop said he had to make more $$ before I went. I guess for Candy & Goliath to have rabi shots and heart worm tests and some utter stuff it cost pop an arm and a leg.
Ma finished her leather class. I haven't seen any new leashes or collars (YET). She says she is still practicing. She must be going over the patterns in her head as she watches tv. Good thing she got that utter job.
Well my darlings, that about it for me and the tribe. Remeber even tho I am not on Dogster all that much I think about all of you all the TIME!

And if you're like my ma and a little heffy, Could you not buy a GOOD bra? So that your girls wouldn't look like they were two little herding pups trying to get free???
There was one woman in black slacks and a red sweater. Perfect for what she was doing. Catch a clue.

Yappy Valentines Day (soon)

I wanted to tell all my Dear Friends Yappy Valentine's Day.
So many of you have left me love notes and zealies. Alas, my stupid compooter will not allow me to give zealies out, dunno why. I have 39 of them to give, but NO there they sit waiting for the go-a-head and the compooter just sits there and sits there. Anyhoodle YOU ALL KNOW I LOVE YOU WITH ALL OF MY HEART!
There has never been a Better Bunch of Friends than YOU ALL!
Here's the utter thing.
Ma is gonna be staying at Sus's house starting next Wednesday and guess WHAT??? Sus has a fast fast fast compooter. So I will be on the phone with ma and she is going to try and catch all of you guys up on us. Won't that be GREAT!
And we (Candy, Goliath & I) might (maybe) get to go and spend one night a piece at Sus's house. Dog-0-live won't that be fun.

Hello everypup out there, long time no bark. I know, I know I miss all of you too! Actually it's getting on my nerves. I think ma should start looking for a job with a really fast computer, cuz let me tell you brothers and sisters ours SUCK! Really SUCKS! We can only read about 3 diaries before the darn thing freezes and it takes about 10 minutes for it to load your beautiful faces. I'm telling you guys I HATE this stupid computer.

We're good, it's raining today (love it) it's suppose to snow but I think AZ hijacked all our snow. So we're getting a little rain. Ma is still going to the Sr. Center to play Pickleball. Big deal. Who cares.
Oh and she was going to clean the house and do this and do that. Huf she's so lazy, she can barely get her fat butt off the couch, which by the way is really MY couch.
Utter then that my loveleys, life is pretty boring in New Mexico.

We're HERE!

Howdy partners! Long time no bark. We're fine as frog hair and we're hoping you all are doing the same.
We're up at gramp's house today so we can use his compooter. Our's at home is a piece of caca. Ma has a different word for it, but I'm not allowed to use that word.
Candy, Goliath and myself are having a good time with ma being home. She does leave us to go and play some silly game called Pickleball, I kid you NOT! But we get to go for rides in the car and for walks. So all in all it's pretty fabo even if I do say so myself.
And so my dear Dogster friends, we're here even if you don't see us that much, we hold you all near and dear to our ♥'s.
I going to go and read some diaries and get caught up on some of you!

First Off

I hope every single pup and their peeps had a Wonderfun Christmas!
Second off my ma quit her job last Monday and that's why you haven't seen us here on Dogster. NO we're not going away, but all we have at the doghouse is dial-up and oui is that ever s l o w . . . We're here at gramp's house today and we wanted every pup to know that's we're still kicking here in NM.
