My "mom" is a part of a committee that is raising money to pay for a K9 Memorial that will honor ALL MWDs, their Handlers, Trainers and Veterinary Staff from ALL Branches of Service; past and present.
This memorial is being sponsored by The Military Order of the Purple Heart, Chapter 566. This is a nonprofit organization that can accept tax deductible donations on our behalf.
This will be one of the only (or possibly the ONLY) memorial of this kind that will have full public access. The others are on military installations.
They are inviting ANYONE & EVERYONE that would like to be a part of K9 History to purchase commemorative bricks that will be permanently placed around the base of the monument.
These bricks start at $50 for individuals and $100 for business advertisement.
They are the perfect way to honor or remember a special person, pet, MWD, soldier or fallen hero.
Please tell all the DOG LOVERS that you know. We would love to see the placed filled with pet dog, military dog and police dog names.
