Dear Diary,
My sister Gracie gave birth to 1 boy and 2 girls today.
It's official.... I am an AUNT.
I'm on my way over to her page to give her a Special Gift... I hope they have some baby booties !

Momma has had a lot of poo to deal with... BUT... WE'RE BACK... and I have a new sister! Her name is HOPE and she is Merlin's real sister, same mom and dad, different litter, and she has LONG HAIR... she's a HAIRY IBIZAN!!!!!!!!

Dear Diary,
Mom picked up Auntie C. at 8:00 p.m., they went out to the airport, I.D.'d the WestJet Cargo building where Merlin would be picked up and headed for Tim Horton's. Mom's phone rang while she was standing in line at the gas station. It was a call from WestJet cargo in Toronto saying that mom had to go where she had dropped her dog off, saying "it's an EMERGENCY". Mom gave them grammy Julie's phone # and they hung up. Mom and Auntie C. were sitting in the car when the second call came in, this time it was grammy Julie. Grammy was crying and sobbing and saying things that no-one ever wants to hear... "Merlin's crate somehow got busted/opened and he is nowhere to be found. He may even be dead ! I DON'T KNOW ! I've gotta go!" Auntie Charlotte got out of the car crying and mom sat, stunned shattered and in shock. Auntie C. got back in the car and they waited impatiently for news. About an hour later grammy Julie called my momma and said, "I've got him, he's scared and traumatized with a scraped nose, but otherwise OK. I'm on my way back to Guelph with him. I don't exactly know what happened and was given 3 or 4 different accounts of what happened. I am furious". Mom then drove Auntie C. back to her place and went in for a bit to compose herself before the long drive home.
Momma is shell shocked and shattered, but oh so happy that Merlin was found and is ok.

Dear Diary,
The Final Countdown is on ! My new brother will be here in less than 14 hours! MY Auntie C. is going to the airport with MY mom to pick up Merlin.....

Dear Diary,
My new brother, Merlin ( daVinci's Wickkid Sorcerer ) is arriving by plane tomorrow night at 11:11 p.m. .
This evening, Riley's ( and Cookie and Rosie's ) dad is going to meet Merlin, Oberon(father) and Medea(grandmother), while tomorrow "MY" Auntie C will be going to the airport with my mom to pick him up.
If you look up into the sky tomorrow evening and see a West Jet plane flying overhead... there just might be a Sorcerer on board!

He's 7 months old right now and is coming to live with us in April.
Mom thinks he looks like me.....

Dear Diary,
Mom took "ME!" to the Picture Framing place and try as they might mom couldn't find a frame and/or mat that she liked.
Here's the painting up in our livingroom just in time for Christmas "as is" and "au natural" !
We LIKEY the painting and we LOVE Auntie C. for painting it :o))

Purr went outside for the night and Priscilla kept going to where Purr had been sleeping on the couch then running to the door and crying a bit.
During the night Priscilla got up and went downstairs, Pat found her sleeping curled up in the spot Purr had been sleeping on the couch.
I really think we're going to have a kitty :o)

~~~ funny thing tho, Ella asked if Purr was Tonka approved. I have to tell you, Purr is so much like Tonka in personality that it is spooky. I've felt this for some time but haven't mentioned it; last night Pat said to me, "Purr reminds me of Tonka. She's a lot like him. A LOT."
