Before that, I had been at the Sacramento shelter which was very scary and rescue bailed me out in the nick of time and then I spent some time at a vet's office until they found my foster home. Anyway, I interviewed my new mom and thought she was pretty cool - she told me about beach trips and walks and a big yard, all of which were true : ) Thank goodness she didn't change my name to Balance, though.
