Wow, it has been forever since I've written in my diary. Callie, Maleka, Chewie and I are always busy. But no matter how busy we get we always take time to go to the lookout at least once a week and look down through the clouds and check up on Mom.
Priscilla and Quigley are doing a great job of looking after Mom and Grandma. That comforts me and my sibs. We know Mom misses us something fierce but now she has P & Q to take care of and spend time with and she's happy again.
I see Mom had a four day weekend. I bet P & Q were over the moon and probably are so tired out they're napping right now. P & Q would love to go for walkies like Callie, Maleka and I used to do but Mom is in her 60's now and her knees are giving her trouble so they do their exploring and running in the yard and occasional walks after a vet visit.
Want to do a shout out to all our friends on Memorial Day. Happy Memories.
Oops gotta run Pongo, Stryker and the gang are here and we are getting things ready for the barbecue this afternoon. Everyone's invited.
Ladies - I'll be the handsome stud with the apron that says - kiss the cook.

Well my little brother was bestowed with the honor of Dogster "Dog of the Day". We were jumping for joy up here. Having his little face on the community page all day - what an honor. He's not as handsome as yours truly but the ladies seem to like him. The little monkey face was over the moon and Mom was very proud. Priscilla will take care of things if he starts to get the "big head".

Wow, this is going to be the best pawty yet. Rosie and Cookie are going to make a fabulous cake. Thank you ladies, I know I'll love it. I've heard from pups and puss's too and there's going to be a lot of cakes and biscuits and things yummy.
Maybe we'll get so many cakes we'll have a cake walk. I love those. I remember what happened last time. I jumped for the spot and went splat. Luckily I don't have far to fall with my short legs. Pongo and I haven't given up our dream to stretch our legs so we can go on the Husky walk this winter with Maleka. We think we grew at least a half an inch. Okay Maleka I see you smirking. A guy can dream.
Gotta run, more pawty preparations.

This summer is the best. Can you believe it's time for another big pawty. Labor Day weekend. We're thinking about a two day pawty this time. Play a little volleyball, leapdog, sleep on the beach, catch the morning waves, great food, dog watching. It will be awesome.
Everybody welcome as always, dogs, cats, whatever. We love meeting new friends.
The girls are already planning the cakes. Stryker, Pongo and I have appointed ourselves official spoon lickers. We love to help. Ariana, Callie and Maleka just roll there eyes when I say that.
See you there.

I am truly honored. Dogster has bestowed upon me, a diary pick of the day honor. I was speechless which Callie says hardly ever happens. Mom always said I had the gift of gab.
This coming right after my fabulous birthday party is just so amazing. What a fun filled week. Callie and Maleka are afraid I'm going to get the "big head". No worries, I have several sizes of hats.
Thanks Dogster. You made my day.

Man oh Man. That was the party of all parties. I had the funnest time ever. OMD everyone was there. And the ladies, all of the gorgeous ladies, all there to see handsome me. See Callie I still have it. Thank you everyone for making my birthday so special. Callie and Maleka snatched my "kiss me it's my birthday button" but not after some serious smooching. These lips are plumb tuckered out. Thanks for all my presents, they were fabulous. Of course being a gentleman I will share all my goodies with my sibs and friends.
Thank goodness Pnogo, Cookie and Stryker were there to keep me from doing anything embarassing. I remember my sister Maleka and brother Chewie sitting on me at one point, not sure what that was all about. But I had so much fun. Going to take a really long nap.
Thank you my friends. You are the best.

Can you believe it. I forgot it was my birthday. Of course my pals Pongo and Cookie remembered. They are the best.
When I saw the huge cake Callie and Adriana made I still didn't get it. I asked whose birthday it was. When they all looked at me weird I finally figured it out. Geesh. You think a guy would remember something important like that. I might have missed out on the present thing. I'm sure everyone got me presents. Yippee. Happy Birthday to me. We're going out to celebrate tonight. I'll try to behave and be the mature gentleman I am. Who am I kidding, I'm going to parttttttty! Come on, everyone welcome. Let's make it a blast. Maleka and Callie have everything arranged. Can't wait.

Happy Fourth of July! We're having a big party behind "Flying Paws" today. Everyone is welcome.
As everyone knows cats and dogs coexist together up here at the bridge. We are all one big happy family. But we know that sometimes the bigger dogs get so excited that they don't always see our shorter friends so Maleka has made a cats and shorter dogs area just for safety sakes. Everybody please come. Our cat brother Chewie arrived at the bridge a short time ago and this is the purrfect time to meet him. He is such a beautiful boy. Maleka is very protective of him as they grew up together for two years before Callie and I joined their family. He misses Mommy something fierce but we are helping him with his adjustment. He has even decided to live with us. He bunks in with Maleka now. All four of us have been very close these past two weeks. He still smells like Mommy and we're enjoying that.
All four of us go to our favorite spot in the evening and watch over Mommy and Priscilla and that rascal Quigley. We know Priscilla will have a difficult night with all the fireworks. We hate those big noises. Up here there's no loud sounds, just beautiful vibrant colors.
So my friends be happy today, live in the moment and treasure your memories. That's what we do up here.

I can't believe I haven't written in my diary since December. Our "Flying Paws" dictation business keeps me so busy. Don't listen to my sister Callie, she'll say I've just been goofing off. She just doesn't realize that us genius types really need to relax to come up with our great ideas. So if you see me playing with my friends, you have no idea that my brain is just brimming with activity.
Maleka is back from her Husky trek and I've been hanging with her a lot. The stories she's been telling are amazing. I'm so jealous. I'm trying to get her to put in a good word for me. I'd love to go with them next time. She tried to break it to me gently that my legs are too short to keep up with the pack. Pongo says he knows some great stretching exercises and we're both going to do them so we can go next year. I guess we'll have do something about our short coats too. A guy can dream. Is there such a thing as a Boston Terrier trek. Callie was mean and said if there was, I'd be back in an hour. Sisters can be so cruel.
Oops gotta run. Callie, Maleka and I are meeting are friends at the bone bar.
Love you Mommy!

Well if Mom thought I was a character, I can imagine what she thinks of the two pups that replaced Callie and me. Man do they keep Mom on their toes. Mom vowed that after me she would never get a boy dog again. But when they didn't have a girl pup available she relented and got Quigley. He's quite the rabble rouser. He's two now and still goes like an Energizer bunny. If only I could leave the bridge for a day and go down and have a brotherly chat with him. At the very least I'd teach him how to pee like a real boy dog. His style is just embarassing. And how can he make cool designs in the snow if he doesn't lift his leg.
Now Cylla on her own would be a very sweet girl, but she's got Mr. Q. to deal with. She has been very patient with him, but once in awhile, enough is enough.
Callie, Maleka and I were very sad to hear about Chewtoy's health problem. We keep sending healing thoughts his way.
Maleka just left on a journey with a pack of Huskies. They do this every year and asked her to join them. She was very excited. Callie and I saw them off. When they crested the ridge, they all turned in unison and howled. It was quite a sight. We know she is in good hands. They will be gone quite a while. It will be good for her to bond with them. She needs to let off some steam and play and roam around. I'm sure they'll have an amazing journey, and tell us all about it when they return.
I'm sure glad Callie is here. I'm the brains of the "Flying Paws" business but I have to admit that she's the one who keeps it going. And of course Adriana is like her right paw. Those two girls can do anything they set their mind on. They are busy these days planning a big Christmas party. We got a lot of work done this fall and cleared an area where those pesky beavers cut down trees. It was sad to lose all those trees, but we cleared out the stumps and used all the wood to make a huge building to hold our parties. I, Pongo, Striker and the guys are in charge of the decorations and entertainment for the party. The girls were a little skeptical about that at first but they have their paws full with other things so Callie said we could run with it. Now where in the world can I get inflatable girl dogs. Just kidding Callie. We'll behave (wink, wink).
Oops, gotta run, the guys and I are holding audtions for the talent show part of the entertainment. It will be pawsome.
