I am in the horrible position of having to rehome my dog, Tigger.
Tigger is a three and a half year old desexed male Staffi x Kelpie who I have had for three years. I originally got him from the RSPCA.

Our home has minimal outdoor space (we live on the North Shore in Sydney)and we are not often enough at home (both my parents work long hours) and I feel that Tigger is not getting all he needs.

He is very energetic and companionable, and would much better suit an
active person who spend more time at home, someone who for example jogs
every day (as Tig LOVES to run). A perfect place for him would be
somewhere where he could have lots of space.

It greatly upsets me that I must find somewhere else for him, as he has a
loveable personality (at times he can be cheeky, but a firm training
regime would easily keep him in check) and is one of the best things in my
life. But I would hate to see him become neurotic or develop other
behavioural problems. Not getting what he needs is already making him
become a bit of an escape artist.

If anyone has any suggestions about what can be done, or where he can go
please let me know. He is a lovely dog, we're just the wrong family for
him.
