Arrival Story:
When we first met Sarge in our local pound we were not in the market for another dog but seeing how cute he was and that his time was running out we decided to try to get him out of there. The great people of HART stepped in and rescued him from death row. Sarge has been our foster since 6-23 and so far he has been doing great! If you want to adopt Sarge please fill out an adoption application.

Bio:
Sarge was picked up by animal control as a stray. He is as sweet as can be, very playful and loving but does have some issues. Sarge's vision is very limited but that does not stop him from being very curious and quite confident around new things. It seems that in his first home he was confined to a very small space which results in him spinning in circles and not lifting his head up. He might have some minor brain damage and has a short attention span. However in the short time he has been out of the shelter he has improved a lot. ____________________________ Sarge is a very sweet boy. He loves to play with other dogs, humans and toys all day long. He rides well in the car, walks nicely on lead most of the time and is crate trained. This boy is extra curious and although news things and sounds startle him at first he comes right back to investigate.

Forums Motto:
Safe a life-adopt!!

Kids:
My foster mum is certain that I would be great for any family, but because of my disability and because I might be a little too playful for the tiny bipeds I'd be best in a family with kids over 8 years old.

123- Here I Come

I went home today!!!!!!

So guys, this is it! Today I went home with my new mum!

Could this be it?

September 8th 2007 12:50 pm   [link to this entry]

Today might just be the start of my new life! I met a lady today who really, really likes me! She says she can provide a great home for me with lots of love. How great would that be? I have to wait a few more days until the rescue can do a homevisit with her but I really have a good feeling this time. Foster mum cried when she heard that the lady really wants to be my forever mum. People are so weird. This is a good thing and yet she is sad. I promise I will give her lots of kisses over the next days to make it better. I guess I'll miss living here but I can not wait to have a forever mum all for myself.
Keep your paws crossed for me!!

Fun at the beach!

August 31st 2007 2:38 pm   [link to this entry]

Today was the most pawsomest day ever! My foster parents took me too this super cool place they call beach. There was so much sand, and so much intresting stuff to sniff out. The weirdest thing was that gib puddle of water. It kept moving and it tasted yucky! Foster mum put up some pictures of that beach thing. It was really great.
Yet there is till no forever family in sight for me. Are you sure you don't want to adopt me?
