Hello again. Today is Thursday, 9/25th. Kaos has had a semi busy week. Tuesday was a quiet day. I have not felt well all week. From my Lupus, my hip has been very sore, and I also had to switch one of my meds after taking it for 8 years. I take about 40 pills a day for my illness. So I have had a very bad headache until this morning. But Kaos could definitely tell that I was not feeling well. She just layed in bed with me.
On Wednesday, we continued our new routine of taking a short walk every morning. I can only walk short distances, but Kaos loves to walk. Daddy takes her for the long walks. I can say that once I am out of bed and dressed, she is waiting by her clothes bin and ready to go out. This morning, there were quite a few children with parents outside to catch the school bus. This was a great way for her to socialize and interract with other people. As I mentioned, she is very attached to me. She was actually allowing the children and parents to pet her. But when she had enough, she put the leash in her mouth and turned around and pulled me towards home. This was still a major step in the right direction. My hope is that if we wake up and have to go out at the same time, that she will get more used to people each day. So we celebrated with a nice Pupperoni when we got home. I also praised her so much.
Thanks for listening to us & have a nice day! We will talk to you soon!

Hello, we are back again. We may not post our diary daily. Instead we will combine 2 - 3 days all into one and update everyone that way.
Kaos was VERY quiet on Sunday, (for Kaos). I was in bed most of the day from my Lupus acting up and she stayed right with me. The only time she would get out of bed was when I did to use the bathroom. I definitely beleive that she feels my pain when I do. SHe was a gift from my sister & her husband and from day one, she has been so attached to me that she wants to be where ever I am. She will go to my sister, her husband, my husband and she would also go with my mom when mom was still alive. But if I am having a very bad painful day, she is very leary of who she lets near me. Also, since my bedroom, (and bed) , are where I am everyday after 3 and then only get up for dinner, she is very protective of me in the bedroom. If anyone besides my husband comes in the bedroom, she growls and will not let them in the room or on the bed. This is a comfort since my hunband is a banquet manager and works many nights. ALso, when he comes home very late, he has to tell her it is Daddy coming in the bedroom, or she is very skeptical of him coming in the bedroom. So I am very happy to also have a watch dog for myself. If we go out, (we usually only go to a Doctors Appointment), I will let her stay upstairs at my sisters to get her used to socializing, and my sister has a 12 year Yorkie. But Kaos will stand at the top of the stairs and cry. She will do that until we come home. The last time, my sister came downstairs for something & Kaos ran down and would not go back up. She sat behind the outside door and cried til we came home. I know it may not be normal, but she never makes a mess in the house or destroys anything, so both my husband & I feel that the less we make of this the better.
When we look at her cute face and she kisses me, or does a trick for me, I just melt.
Well have a nice few days. We will talk to you soon.

Hello all! Even though Kaos is going to be 4 on December 2, and has been a Dogster member since June of 2006, this is the start of her diary. I, (her Mom), am very ill with Lupus, and Kaos is my total life. But unfortunately, though I had every intention of starting her Diary, I just was unable to start it. But as they say, better late then never...LOL.
Kaos is a Pure Yorkie, even though she weighs 12 pounds. She is not spayed as of yet as we will be breeding her during her next heat. She has much much energy, and is very intelligent. She knows many tricks, and I thought since we started training late that she would not catch on to new tricks and commands, but it may take a little longer, she still learns and does remember.
Kaos loves to wear one of her MANY outfits daily and also to bed. She will stand next the bin with her clothes in the morning before we go out and I say let's get dressed and comb your hair. We pick out either a tee shirrt, sweater or something else according to temperature. She also loves to have her hair styled. I have been able to even french braid it. My son is 21 and he moved out 4 years ago, so my husband calls Kaos the daughter that we never had.
She loves toys, but even at almost 4 years old, she still manages to take apart all toys with squeakers in them. She pulls out all that messy green stuffing and then brings me the squeaker and I throw it out.
SO as of today, she leeps with us every night. When I wake up and my husband is always still in bed, she will not stay in bed. She gets dressed and does her hair. We then take a sort walk in the yard and she does her morning duty. When she comes back in, she gets her treat. It is a pupperonni. My sister & her husband live upstairs and they have a 12 year Yorkie named Nanook, and he stays with us daily while my sister works, so he is her playmate. Then she will go out every 3 hours to do her duty. About 3 PM, it is time for Mommy to take my nap and Kaos always rests with me. We will wake about 5 and have dinner. She eats Purina Pro Plan Dry Food and she has Ceasar or Beneful, (1/2 Ceasar or 1/4 Beneful) with dinner in addition. My husband is a banquet Manager and is never home on weekends so Kaos and I are in bed about 7 and watch TV and use the laptop in bed. SHe will stay right by my side. If anyone comes in the bedroom, she will growl and get very nasty. I feel VERY safe with her. So now that we are updated, the next entry can be much shorter. Thanks for your patience.
