Likes:
Body checking Corona into the wall. Laying on feet. Her Mama. 'Racing' up the stairs with Mama. Harassing her brothers into playing with her by 'flirting'

Pet-Peeves:
Waiting, to be petted, to be fed, to play fetch...this is when she grunts most. 'Wrestling'.

Favorite Toy:
Whatever Max or Corona has. Colbert apparently makes an awesome chew toy.

Favorite Food:
If she can eat it, it's her favorite. Flies fresh from the window sill, stale french fries, anything you are eating.

Favorite Walk:
Following D around the yard, being the perfect lil heeler.

Best Tricks:
Heeling. Fly catching, she also does well with crickets/grasshoppers.

Arrival Story:
Buela was my Valentines present per say, I know a pet for a present, e-gads! It was two weeks after adopting Corona, and D now really wanted a cattle dog, like he had had in CA (Bruno was a Red Heeler mix). After some hunting, we found a breeder out in the back woods (seriously, dirt road, giant metal gated ranchers fence, chickens, the whole deal). Buela's parents, grandparents and uncle were there to see. She was the last of her litter, the runt, and according to D, I never let her go once I got a hold of her. The name Buela came about because I personally had a Donovan and a Corona, so I needed a B name for her, and Bandit was definitely out. We went to a baby name site and read off B names. He will tell you it was all my fault but he said that Buela was a nice name. As for the Grace part, her name at the breeders was Grace because the male puppy that was adopted before her was Will. Now we add the "Grace" part because she is anything but graceful. Being that she was not happy to be held and made to stay in my lap, Buela fought the entire hour car ride home, complete with flatulence.

Bio:
Corona was absolutely not thrilled with having a sister and we got dirty looks for days from her.At this point, they are now perfect sparing partners. We actually retrieved one of Buela's puppy teeth from her biting Corona and it coming out of her skin days later. At this point we wonder if her being the runt means that she will be smaller in stature overall because she is so little still at 7 months and only about 25 lbs. Granted full grown weight should be about 35-45 lbs. We still wonder. We think we'll have the first miniature Aussie Cattle Dog. We call her Grunty because when she's excited she'll grunt a lot (at least that's the best way to describe the noise). She'll also grunt when we're on the bed watching TV and she wants to join us, so she'll pace back and forth, quite conspicuously, grunting as loud as she can until we invite her onto the bed. Then she'll just sit there and make us invite her several times, just to make sure we mean it I guess. Most other Heelers I've seen on the internet have the asymmetrical black/brown on just one eye whereas Buela has it evenly on either side of her head. The black is moving upward. Her puppy picture shows about an inch between the bottom of her eye and the edge of the black; now it's at the bottom of her eyes and still moving up.
