Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
| -mutt | -pound dog | -dog rescue | |
 Birthday: August 27th 2005
Likes: Cuddling (belly up) with her soulmate, Papa. Wrestling with Colbert.

Pet-Peeves: Buela stealing her rawhide. Having to walk in wet grass (as if!). Dogs smelling my bum. Having to share MY Papa with Momma. LADY BUGS!

Favorite Toy: Whatever Buela and Max aren't monopolizing.

Favorite Food: She doesn't really have anything that she goes nuts over.

Favorite Walk: Anywhere with Papa.

Best Tricks: If you are outside with her and say "squirrel" she will go bounding off into the woods running like a gazelle....I'll have to make a movie, it's like watching Mutual of Omaha.

Arrival Story: Donovan and I (Donovan really), were looking for a dog while we are here in SC. Previously owning a dog in California before the Navy and watching 6 months of the Dog Whisperer will get the bug in you to get a dog. We found Corona at the first SPCA we visited. We went in and looked at big dogs first, puppies, Collies, Labs, Shepherds, even the sick ward. Nothing really caught our fancy. On the way out, sitting right by the door in her crate next to a Dachshund was Corona. Her tag marked her as a Terrier mix (He was really looking for a Jack). She was so quiet and sat there staring at us. He asked for her to be let out of the crate on a leash, mainly because she looked just like a cattle dog he had in High School back in CA. We were warned that she had been turned in yet again from her 4th home (she was just over 16 months old at this time), they told us that she has separation anxiety; that she wined, chewed on cabinets, carpet, shoes, anything she could get a hold of. We said let us see her anyhow. She didn't jump around or bark or run off, she instead crawled right into D's lap as he knelt down to greet her. He was sold, instantly and unequivocally. Unfortunately, it was too late in the day for any new adoptions so we went home dogless. The next day we were sitting in the parking lot of the shelter a full hour before it opened. The picture of her in a dog bed is the very first picture we took of her, on the ride home with us that first day.

Bio: We think that she may have some Chihuahua in her, mainly because of her large ears, fine legs, and temperament. But we are clueless to anything else really. We've heard everything from cattle dog, Shepherd, corgi, Swedish Valhund, coyote, and Shibu Inu. We're leaning towards a SwedishValhund due to the pictures of them from the AKC website.
She is about 25 lbs soaking wet and stands about 18" tall and likes to sleep with her front legs crossed or laying right up against D...in the picture of her laying on D she is passed out cold.

Forums Motto: It's not easy being a Princess.
