Arrival Story:
Kipsie came from a litter of kittens that belonged to my aunt's foundling cat. I begged my mom to let me bring her home from Austin. She caved and Kipsie rode home in a box on my lap!
Bio:
Eclipse is a very friendly domestic long hair. She's shy at first, but she warms up to people quickly. Sometimes, when I'm outside reading a book or polishing on my car, she will come out of her hidey hole and lay down next to me, as if to keep me company. One of the most amusing stories about her involves overalls. I got Kipsie when I was in 6th grade. At that time, overalls were the cool thing to wear, so I did. Kipsie has always been on the smallish side, so I used to put her in my overalls front bib pocket and carry her around kangaroo-style. She loved to ride around like that. When she outgrew the pocket, I would let her cling to the inside of the overalls themselves while I went about the house doing chores. All in all, she's a good bug-hunter and very spry and youthful looking for an 8 year old kitty.
