Arrival Story:
Ony joined our family as a puppy approximately 15 years ago. She was very nervous and quiet at first, but once she felt comfortable she became very active and playful. Now that she's in her "twilight years" she's calmed down considerably and no longer chases cars (from the safety of her side of the fence) or small animals, but she's still a delightful, sweet lady. Lots of people have asked if she's part coyote, but she's not. She's been afraid of loud noises her whole life, but she no longer has that problem now that she's lost her hearing. She is a very sweet girl with a loveable disposition.

Unfortunately, Ony passed away from old age in May 2007, just a few months after her senior-aged "brother" Troy (the black dog pictured on the left side of this page) also went to the Bridge. We miss them both very much.
