Still Real Hot...More Dog Days to Come!!

Well, it must be bath day, I saw Buddy go under the bed and he never does that unless Mom is going to give him a bath. Funny Mom always says she can't get all the dust from under the bed, all she needs to do is say bath and the crazy little "dust mop" Buddy will take care of it for her! I seem to be feeling a little better, but it's so hot... where is winter anyway? Mom says it's hotter in other cities, I don't see how a dog can take 100 degrees or more!

Feeling Bad During The Dog Days of Summer

It's been really hot, so I am spending most of my time resting on the couch. When I got up this morning I didn't feel well, threw up and still didn't feel much better. Mom is watching me to make sure I am drinking water, I did not want any breakfast. I will be going to the vet if things don't change by in the morning. Since I really don't like going to the vet, especially getting my temp taken, I am trying my best to get better on my own. I will post news tomorrow.

Lock Out

I was very upset tonite when I woke from a nap in my fenced in area of the yard to find that no matter how much I barked no one would let me inside the house. Mom and Dad had gone out to dinner and didn't realize that I was still outside. Lucky for me they were not gone too long and I barked a lot when I heard the car pull in the driveway. I still think I will lay the guilt trip on them for a while, they need to know that I don't like to be outside except when I want to be, and when I want to come in, I want to come NOW! Lesson learned take all future naps in the house.

Min-Pins Running Wild

Yesterday Mom was working on the computer and out of the corner of her eye she thought she saw something running in the backyard. As she got to the third window she saw a Min-Pin just standing there. As usual, I got blamed for escaping from the house (which I did once) and she started calling me. I was sitting on the couch in the family room, when she realized that it was not me she still went out to try to catch the little dog, but the little dog was really fast and she could not catch him or her. It ran off down the street and we all hope it was headed for home. Min-Pins are not safe running the streets even in this little quiet neighborhood, we are just too small. All of us really hope she made it home alright.

Why I Stay Home

Well, the family went boating this weekend and I stayed home. The house is quiet when Buddy is gone and Kitty Boy and I just sleep. We like sleeping! I hate boating, way too hot, saltwater is icky, swimming is too much work and since I am short the water is always over my head! At home I have my bed, my food bowl and a big bowl of fresh water. Those are the things that are important to me. Let the rest of them go boating and sweat!
