Quick Bio:
-purebred

Birthday:
September 10th 2002

Likes:
Food! Along with stuffed toys, long walks, chasing rabbits, whining for the neighbors' attention, little kids, my family.

Pet-Peeves:
Noises that think maybe someone is breaking into my house to hurt my family (such as a creaking step, wind, cough, etc). My sister in law's Puggle Lilly. She always wants to play and doesn't understand that laying on the couch is better.

Favorite Toy:
A stuffed puppy that makes a grunting noise. When he feels ferocious, he whips it around like he's killing it. It usually ends up behind the couch when he lets it fly.

Favorite Food:
Canidae and whatever people food I can get!

Favorite Walk:
Around the "long" block. So much to sniff and pee on.

Best Tricks:
Licking faces, sitting, rolling over

Arrival Story:
We had been wanting a dog for a long time and just bought a house a few months before and were finally all set. We found an ad in a grocery store for Cairn Terriers that were not ready to go home for a few months. We researched the breed and knew a small but active dog would be great for us since we live in the city. We kept up great correspondence with the breeder who emailed us tons of baby photos. We picked him out in person and picked him up when he was 7 weeks.

Bio:
Frodo loves his kennel. He knows he gets his best treats when it's time for me to go to work and he goes to kennel. Kennel training him was one of the best things we trained him on. Now that he's older, he seldom uses his kennel. He prefers to sit on the back of the couch and bark at the squirrels who dare enter his yard. The drop it command was a life saver though. Someone thru hamburger with rat poison on it in our yard. Frodo thought it looked tasty and was chewing on it. When I saw him from the window and yelled drop it, he did immediately. After much hydrogen peroxide and a vet visit, he didn't have any problems with the poison. Whew!

Going up north!

All next week I get to go to a cabin up north by lake. My people are very excited and I am not sure what is going on completely but I think it will be fun! I get to swim and chase animals and go for long walks in the wood. My people are jealous I get Frontline to keep the bugs off me and they have to smell like bug spray. Haha!
