Arrival Story:
I am a Realtor and showing a vacant property i found Brittaney. The owner moved and left her behind. She jumped right in my car, my daughter who was with me that day named her Brittaney, we took her to the vet, took care about flees and worms and she stays with us since then. She is a great dog, a good watch dog, a great teacher for Ghia and Max and she is still the boss of the house.

Bio:
we learned that she was abused and until today she has big problems to accept any men except my husband and our two sons. Even at her age she still will defend all of her "kids" does not matter if human, cats, dogs or bunnies. I can not understand how somebody can just move away and leave any dog or animal and this dog for sure did not deserve it at all.

we are very thankful that we had her that long and she is deeply missed by us humans but also by Ghia and Max. We know after all she had a nice life with us after all the abuse she had to go thru as a puppy and young dog. My husband and I knew it will happen sooner or later since Brittaney was so old already. We were always hoping that we do not have to go to the Vet and have to put her to sleep. We were hoping she would just go to sleep one night and don't wake up the next morning.

Brittaney did us this favor. She did not suffer, she was able to walk the steps until her very last day, she came to us as if she wanted to say Good bye and just went to sleep peacefully.
