Birthday: September 15th 2005 Likes: Mindi loves going on car rides, getting her belly rubbed, getting baths, and most of all her treats! Also, she loves playing with her adobted sister Saj! Pet-Peeves: Mindi hates when she's trying to rest and her sister saj keeps bitting her, she also doesn't like when I tell her to get off the couch. She just jumps right back up there. She also hates when Saj steels her treats and toys. Favorite Toy: Mindi loves this little blue toy I bought her, but Saj keeps taking it away. Favorite Food: Mindi loves her beneful, except when we go to my mom's cause then she steals marris' food! Best Tricks: Mindi can sit, shake, high five, and stand on her hind legs. That's about it. Arrival Story: A guy that I was with at the time decided to go and take a look at these pitbull/german shepherd mix dogs. I said ok sounds good. We went to go look at them and I saw "Mindi" and thought she was beautiful. She was very shy though and wasn't sure about us, but she was interested to who we were. There was a male dog there, but thinking over with my situation we decided to get Mindi. Bio: We took Mindi home and she was very timid. Wasn't sure about anything. She wouldn't let me put a collar on her, she hated remotes, cameras, car ride, leashes, and basically anything that made a noise. She was very scared of the guy that I was with at the time. He was the one that bought her and Mindi was supposed to be his dog, but things happened at the time and we broke up and I decided to keep Mindi and work with her. I wasn't sure how to help with her being timid, but I wanted to do anything that I could. I was watching a episode of The Dog Whisperer and it was about timid dogs! Perfect. So I watch and I learned. About a few months later I decided to get another dog to help Mindi with her problem. Believe me it has worked wonders. Mindi is doing wonderful now. She's still a little cautious of things, but not as much as she used to be. Everyone who knew her before has told me they see quite the change in her! I'm happy with the results
