When people are not including him in something. When he can't say hi to EVERYONE, even if they're a hundred feet away.
Favorite Toy:
A koala without a squeaker and a hedgehog with a squeaker, although he has a huge laundry basket full of stuffed toys and he loves every single one of them.
Favorite Food:
Pretty much everything. Otto has what the vet likes to call 'a fabric fettish'. He once consumed an entire athletic sock (no chewing required).
Favorite Walk:
anywhere Mommy will take him
Best Tricks:
singing and talking to Grammie, forcing humans (especially Mom) to pet him, 'settle', going up the stairs all by himself, clapping his hands (although it's a natural movement to help him keep balance when he's jumping for joy)
Arrival Story:
I first saw Otto at a PetSmart adoption day but could not bring him home because my other dog (Baby) was having surgery. I thought I would wait until she healed, then if he had still not been adopted I would bring him home. Sure enough, a month later he came home with us!
Bio:
Otto was found with a broken leg by a very friendly man who took him to an animal rescue. They tried to fix his leg; they put pins in and everything, but it wasn't healing correctly. So finally the leg had to be removed. It made him so much more comfortable and now he can run and play and romp just as well as any four-legger!
