Arrival Story:
I became Shai's mommy when she was six weeks old. She and I had a bond that was indescribable. She was my very best friend and if a dog can be a soulmate...Shai was mine.
Tragically, she died at the very young age of three yrs, four mo, nine days. She had an incurable illness called, GME, granulomatous meningo encephalomyelitis. I would have given anything to have saved her. I miss her so much. She died on August 16,2002 and a part of me died that day. Most days are still tear-filled...like now as I am writing this in her loving memory. The hurt is insurmountable...the tears never ending....my heart constant aching. God promises if we believe and follow Him that we will have the "desires of our hearts"...that would be my baby Shai (and all my other dogs) ...'til we meet in heaven, my beloved Shai.
