Water of any kind touching his precious paws, he is really finnicky. When Daisy tries to clean out his food bowl, and when Dais tries to steal his favorite sleep spot

Favorite Toy:
His Kong really helps him through tough times when I'm not home, especially when its stuffed with peanut butter. Squirrels are toys to him, as are any critter that runs from him, such as rabbits and cats.

Favorite Food:
cashews, ground beef, and cheese.

Favorite Walk:
Any park where there are people around to shower him with praise, he's quite proud of himself. Vanity is a big issue with Syd. He loves to run too, as long as there is a fenced in area for him to be off leash, Sydney is content.

disobedience, the basenji 500, chasing squirrels with freakishly good accuracy

Arrival Story:
I had recently lost a female basenji to a tragic accident that occured while she was in a boarding kennel. Deeply distraught, and wanting to carry on the memory of my beloved baby girl, I wrote to many lists about the fate of my basenji. I was overwhelmed with breeders who had young dogs needing homes. My heart couldn't take having another brindle, so I chose a red and white male pup and drove 7 hours to get him. He carries on the basenji tradition in my home, and I know my baby girl would be proud of how Sydney turned out.
