Birthday: January 29th 2006 Likes: playing ball Favorite Toy: Ball and Grape Fruit, we have plenty on our trees and the dogs love them to play with Favorite Food: natural choice Favorite Walk: We have a huge property for their walks and playground Best Tricks: catching balls, picking grape fruits from the tree Arrival Story: Ghia turned out to be such a great dog and Brittaney our "Granni" with almost 16 years old was really not great to play with for her. So we decided to look for a second German Shepherd. We had a trip to Germany planed anyway to visit my parents and looking for a puppy i went thru German Sites as well. I found a breeder very close to my parents and they had puppies about the right age to be old enough to be able to enter the USA without a problem. They have to be 10 weeks old to be allowed to come into the States. My Dad (his name is Max) went to visit the breeder and the puppies. He had order from my husband to lay down on the floor and the puppy who comes to him first that is the one we want. - That was Max. As soon as we arrived in Germany we bought the flight box for Max and dropped it off at the breeder. She offered this box to Max right away without closing the door but with food and water in it. After the second day with the box, Max decided to sleep in it and so he was ok and felt safe in there. He did great on the flight but was very happy to get out and meet Ghia after a very long day for a very little dog. Bio: Certainly Max came with a long pedigree and we are able to follow back to the very first registered German Shepherd in Germany. (By the way we did not know that when we picked the breeder and we did not care a lot about pedigree at all) We transfered his German papers to AKC that is when we found out. The breeder in Germany was just a normal nice family and their dogs are more family members than a business. That is what we liked. And Max is just as great as Ghia is. Forums Motto: Max loves Grape Fruits The Groups I'm In: A Friend 4 Life, German Shepherds in Florida - would be nice to stay in contact, Stop Animal Abuse! I've Been On Dogster Since:
