Birthday: July 28th 2003 Likes: dance for the bunnies, kitties, play with her toys, sleep on the couch, being a lap dog, running around in circles in her kennel & digging holes in her kennel (even without any toenails!) Pet-Peeves: stubborn, a thief, hate having her mouth wiped Favorite Toy: her stuffies, a toy tire, a nylon chew bone, balls Favorite Food: anything she can get her mouth on Favorite Walk: around the yard Best Tricks: she stands on her hind legs & jumps backwards, in a dance like motion Arrival Story: We had just lost our other 4 year old female Rottie, due to liver cancer. Our male was missing her. We heard of this guy who runs a Rottie Rescue Shelter. Gave him a call & went down to see the puppies. She was born there. When we got there, she was at the vet tech's due to the fact that her mother bit her when she was 10 days old. We put a deposit on her, sight unseen. She was the one for us! We went to meet her at 4 weeks & then went back to visit her at 6 weeks old. She came home with us at 8 weeks of age. She's been with us ever since. When our male is no longer with us, when we're ready, will go back to the shelter & see if there's another dog that's for us. Bio: This past winter, she was diagnose with an auto immune disease. It was attacking her nails. Now, she's got no nails at all. Although it's not cureable, it is very treatable. There are signs that we look out for when this happens. Her nails start to separate & fall off. Sometimes, she gets secondary infections; which then she has to go onto antibiotics & steroids to treat everything.
