Birthday: July 23rd 1994 Likes: Sleeping in the middle of the bed! Pet-Peeves: Haircuts and baths! Favorite Toy: Squeekie Football Favorite Food: The cats food when Mommy isnt watching! Favorite Walk: Around the apartment complex Best Tricks: Sitting up on hind legs and begging Arrival Story: When I lived in DE with my ex...we went into this little pet store 'just to look' and he was sitting in the cage with his brothers and sisters. I picked him up and he immediately cuddled up on my chest and started licking my ear. I fell in love instantly! Of course...when I had my ex hold him, Bear did the same exact thing and instantly became part of the family! The best $250 I ever spent!
When it came time for my ex and I to split up...I got custody of my Baby Bear and he has been a constant companion ever since. Bio: Bear was raised by two older cats...Princess and Fritzie. Eventhough they would act like he was the plague when we were around...there were times when you would find all three of them curled up on the bed sleeping together. And when Fritzie passed away in my arms at the ripe old age of 21, Bear was there by her side. The bond they had is one reason that I think sometimes Bear thinks he is more a cat than a dog!
He was also a companion dog in a way to my mothers dalmation, Abby, who was deaf. He would protect her from other dogs (eventhough he was 5x smaller than her!) and would get her attention when we called for her. When Abby finnaly went to the Rainbow Bridge, it was hard for him to lose such a loved friend.
Bear now lives a spoiled life with his Mommy and his sister...Roxie...a tortie cat. Bear loves cats and I got Roxie at the shelter so he wouldnt be alone. He gets a bath everynight from his sister who ends up leaving him with a mohawk on the top of his head but his ears have never been cleaner! Forums Motto: Bear the Amazing CATDOG! The Groups I'm In: Love My Pit Bull!! Rainbow Bridge: I am sad to say that Bear has passed away and gone to Rainbow Bridge as of March 8th, 2008. He will be missed terribly by everyone who got to know him and most missed by me...his Mommy. I love you Bear and miss you with all my heart.
