Arrival Story:
My mother found Minnie running along one of the busiest streets in Oakland, California and was baffled that no one claimed her as their own. Our attempts at finding her former owner were fruitless and in the end we broke down, admitted how much we loved this new pet, and accepted her into our home. Minnie truly is the inspiration behind Mini-Knits.com. I'm so proud of Minnie's (and Louie's) foray into modeling!

Pupperwear Parties!

Just when we thought she couldn't get any more famous, Minnie is now hard at work as a spokesperson for Mom's Mini-Knits Pupperwear Parties. Today will be the second in what will hopefully be a continuing practice of partying at the Alameda Small Dog Park, drinking cocoa and selling sweaters from our Mini-Knits line. Minnie (and little brother Louie) will be in tow, modeling their favorite pieces and I'm sure wreaking havoc running around with the other dogs.

The last Pupperwear Party was December 2nd and it went smashingly well! Sweaters were tried on, bought, and worn home, and Minnie and Louie had a blast hanging with their friends for an unprecedented three hours. Today is far brighter and sunnier so we're anticipating even more sweater shopping fun. Should be fantastic!

If you're in Alameda or Oakland and ever want to come to one of our parties, visit www.mini-knits.com/Pupperwear.html to find when and where the next one will be (though in truth I'm pretty sure we'll continue to have them at the ASDP (Alameda Small Dog Park).

Mini-Knits at Alameda Small Dog Park Howl-O-Ween!

Hello everyone and welcome to Minnie's Mini-Knits diary!

Our news on this blustery October day concerns Mini-Knits' participation in the Alameda Small Dog Park's annual Howl-O-Ween costume contest and parade, specifically that this year one of the featured prizes in the costume contest will be a fabulous gift certificate for a custom knit sweater from www.Mini-Knits.com! The winner will get to choose the style and color of their knit and have it tailor-made to their pup's measurments--isn't that fantastic?!

Unfortunately it's looking like Minnie and Louie will not be able to attend the parade in pers...er...dog this year as their parents will be in CHINA and their petsitter will be working the day of the parade. Aw nuts! Last year Minnie (dressed as Yoda and with Leia-Mom in tow...) won for best partner costume.

This year we would've given everyone a run for the money with what you can bet would've been a grusome-twosome of Minnie and Louie ensemble. Oh well, there's always next year!
