Swimming!!! Woo Hoo!!!

We went to the dog park today, it was so much fun!!! I temporarily lost my head when we got to the pond and dove in!!!! Woo Hoo!!!! It did feel good. later I got very muddy in some deliciously nasty smelling mud. Some have no sense of humor, Dad gave me a bath, BOL!!

We had a great time today, hope everypup also had a wonderful Christmas. Dad took us to the Heritage Park off leash area where we ran for a long time. I've not seen a lot of ice before and the trail had a lot of snow on it so it was a blast to run on. Next thing I know I hit a long stretch of ice and did some somersaults . All Dad did was laugh, so I got up and kept running. Charley kept lagging behind and investigating thickets so Dad had me keep an eye on him. I kept him as close as possible until he went to the pond for a drink and I saw him walking on the water. No way!!! I tried it and sure enough I did too. Dad hollered at us so we both ignored him until we saw him start to walk away. We ran back but he told us it was a bad idea. Something about it being too warm to trust the ice. BOL!! It was fun anyhow. We came back and had a nice long nap. We got some cool toys and treats for gifts and it's been such a nice day!!!
