Arrival Story:
Nicky came to me from the San Diego Siberian Husky Rescue. My son and I saw his picture on the internet and fell in love with him. My son and mother wanted me to have a dog to get me active again. He was therapy. I am a disabled veteran and was not leaving the house and now that I have Nicky, I am hardly home.

Bio:
The story of Nicky is (we think, from what they have piece together)that is first owner was a older gentleman that went to the hospital for a routine operation, but died on the table. During that confusing time Nicky was forgotten about. He got out and was on his own for awhile and was picked up by animal control. The husky rescue got him from the pound and adopted him to a family. Unfortunately, the family had a male husky that attacked Nicky several times and had to bring Nicky back. We were the next ones in line. It also help that I an retired and have a lot time on my hands to spend on Nicky. He suffers from separation anxiety and he pretty much goes every where I do. We received Nicky 6 months ago and is doing very well.
