Birthday: April 5th 2007 Likes: Water! Pools, sprinklers, and laying halfway in the shower while my mom's in there. I love taking baths and being brushed. Pet-Peeves: Not being able to get comfortable, not sleeping in mom's bathroom, when the fan isn't on so I can lay in front of it, the duck, when the Mastiffs won't play with me, getting the hair around the pads of my feet trimmed. Favorite Toy: The new novelty toys mom bought for all us. There's a stuffed Tootsie Roll, Dubble Bubble stick, and Tootsie Pops. Favorite Food: French fries, tator tots, beef jerkey, milk bones, the whipped cream off the top of cappuccino, jerky hooves... Favorite Walk: Around the field and on the deck of the pool. Off lead, when I get outside, I make a wild sprint straight for the kiddy pool and that's where I stay until I'm competely saturated. Then I go flop down in the sand pile. Best Tricks: I use my paws like human hands to get what I'm after, or to show affection by hugging and anger by slapping! When I want to be brushed, I grab the Furminator in my mouth and bring it to my mom, and I'll hit it against her hand until she agrees to brush me Arrival Story: My ma had wanted another Newfie after her boy, Zeus, went to Rainbow Bridge, and I was just what she needed to help heal, she tells me all the time. I flew in all the way from Missouri to be with her. Naturally, my ma had fears about having a pup flown in, having read about the horror stories of breeders who never followed through with the shipping agreement, or puppies that arrived dead in their crates... *shudders* But that fear was unnecessary in my case, because when I arrived, I was clean, healthy, and ready to romp and play out of that crate! I rode the two hour drive home in her lap in the passenger seat, like a dream. We went for a little walk in the McDonalds parking lot so I could stretch my legs, then it was on to home!
