Likes:
Min likes to be on her back. To sleep, she lays on her back with her legs flopped open and SNORES! Minnie is obsessed with leaves! We call her the ambassador - any leaf that falls, she wants to be there to welcome it to the ground!

Pet-Peeves:
Minnie doesn't have many pet peeves, she's so laid back! Anyone can pick her up, lay her on her back, anything - she goes completely limp and loves it! She has a fit when anyone walks by her without a proper greeting that includes her kissing your face!

Favorite Toy:
A stuffed donkey as big as she is! It makes awful noise like a braying donkey and squeaks, too! In the summer, the lawn sprinkler is her favorite toy! She also loves a tiny little stuffed trout

Favorite Food:
Innova EVO

Favorite Walk:
Down to the end of our street and back, she says hello to all the neighbors

Best Tricks:
Her latest trick is Jump Through the Hoop! Run away and don't get caught, poop on the floor cause it's raining and ignore your Mom and Dad! Actually, she can also sit and "put up your dukes" while balancing on her back legs

Arrival Story:
For my birthday my husband gave me a card that had the message "good for any puppy of your choice". I had been pestering him to find a companion for Riley. Rile, who is a Bullmastiff-Doberman was a bit lonely after our Maggie passed away and although he is 130 lbs, he is a gentle giant. I knew I wanted a Peke, I have wanted one for about 20 years! It was pure chance that I found Minnie just one town over from us. A friend overheard a woman talking in a restaurant about a litter of puppies. She turned out to be a Peke breeder and my friend, being as nosy as she is, butted in and asked if they were available. I started visiting her when she was just a few weeks old and she stole my heart! We went to pick her up the day after our honeymoon. I was so worried, we had a snowstorm that morning and I was hoping my husband wouldn't think the weather was too dangerous to drive in! I spent the day cleaning the house and setting up her bed with teeny baby blankets. She didn't cry at all on the ride home, she sat in my lap and fell sound asleep - snoring away. Riley loved her from the minute he saw her. He tries to "clean" her every chance he gets and she is constantly wet! I couldn't have asked for a better pup, she is feisty, loving, friendly, tenacious and goofy all in one little tiny bowlegged package.***Riley passed away on 1/15/07. Minnie loved him very much and will miss her big brother.
