Lola will be a mummy soon!

It`s almost a whole year!

Yes....we had no new entry on Lola`s diary almost a whole year...
Since Lola gave a birth to four puppies,it was a very exciting year.Now we have another member of our family: it`s a Wendy,fun making,naughty but adorable young dog.Three brothers of her are now in new families:two of them in Rijeka,and one in Sisak,Croatia.It`s been very sad and very difficult to give them away,but...you know...
So,we had a great time all together...from the riverside in Petrinja,to the Christmas time in the mountines full with snow,and spending every day in our loving city of Zagreb...

The "Day" has come!

Yes,they are arrived!
Yesterday everything started.Lola had every symptoms:redecorated her whelping box,vomited in the morning,stops eating(even her favorite snacks),felt uncomfortable,her pupils dilate...At the day of delivery,Lola was very brave and patient.
And the puppies are born 31.03.2008 in order of appearance:

1.male,at 13.45
2.male,at 15.40
3.female,at 16.20
4.male,at 17.20

Everyone seems alright for now...Lola had a problem during delivery of the last puppy:placenta remains in the abdomen.We had alarmed our vet,of course,but at 21.30 she expelled the last placenta out.We were so lucky!
