My previous toy had passed away at 18 years of age, and six months later, I decided I couldn't live without another little lap dog.
Bio:
During her first year with us, she flew on a airplane, had to evacuate because of a forest fire, slept in the truck with me, in a tent, in a hotel, was attacked by a bigger dog the night following the firestorm.
She spent the day in surgery. She now has a huge attitude towards anything bigger than her. I don't blame her, as her side was ripped open.
My daughter took her into agility classes to help her get over her aggression with other dogs. She still growled at everyone but, what a little star! She was amazing at agility.

Worst night ever last night. My husband came into my work at just before 10:00 pm to tell me my little JOJO had passed away.
I am devastated. We were treating her cancer with neoplasene, which was shrinking her tumors. She was only 10 years old, so I really thought she would be with me for at least another 6 to 8 years.
She had suffered an acute heart failure.
I don't know what else to say, other than I feel lost without my little shadow.

Mom took me to the Vet this afternoon..........and now I'm spending the night hooked up to the IV with antibiotics.
Mom is waiting for the update from the Vet on duty tonight.

Today, I am not myself again. Not interested in food or going for walks. My temperature is 104.5
I'm headed back to the Doctor's for 3:30 this afternoon. My Mom is really worried about me. I'm curled up in my bag (Sherpa Bag) it's been my safe place for travelling, and when I was attacked by a big dog during the firestorm here in Kelowna, I pretty much recuperated in my portable bag.
My Mom will update later on me.
