Oh No!!!! A hawk!!!!!!

Well, Daddy sure did learn than Mom isn't always paranoid when it comes to Molly and me! After Tico El Bandito was attached by a hawk, Mom was concerned but Daddy said we had nothing to worry about because we live so close to the city. Well on Saturday, Dad came rushing into the house looking for Mom and the camera. He had noticed a half eaten squirrel in our yard (head ripped right off - yuck!!!) and thought it strange. Then he looked up in the tree and saw a huge red tailed hawk. The hawk was a big as me. Dad came in and got Mom and the camera. The hawk stayed there just looking at them for 15 minutes...not afraid at all. Mom said the hawk was beautiful but had to go. Now we are on constant hawk precautions. No outside time without an adult and a leash!! Next time Mom says something, Dad might listen. The hawk photos are on my page (pics #2, 3, 4). You can see how big (and beautiful) he is!

It's my Birthday!!!

Hi everybody!!

Thanks for all my birthday wishes. We had a good time yesterday. I got meatloaf cake and Mom said I can celebrate all weekend. This morning I got some chew toys and I just love them!!!!! Molly keeps trying to steal them but I just make a little "grrrr" sound and that takes care of that!!

Wish we could have been on yesterday but Mom had to work and then Dad's group played a John Coltrane concert so we only had time for meatloaf cake. We'll have pics from this weekend and we'll post them. (Mom said something about Frosty Paws later!) . This was a great year, especially since our beloved Celtics won the championship!!! Go Celtics!!!!!!!

Gotta go. We're off to the beach.

Merry Christmas to all!

Phew! I am just pooped. Mom and Dad hosted Christmas and that meant I was very busy entertaining 5 nieces and nephews. I was poked, prodded, chased, picked up, put down, fed, taken for a walk, fed again, got presents, fed again.... I was happy when they all left. They just love me...what can I say!...I am too cute for words. Poor Molly was neglected. She's too big for them (they are still small). But Mom and Dad made sure she was pampered. (Although secretly I think she makes out better cuz she doesn't have to work so hard). All in all we had a very happy Christmas. Our best wishes to all our dogsters pals - we hope the new year brings everything you hope for, and that your kindness and good will is returned ten-fold!!
