Arrival Story:
Oh boy, how do I make the story of how I became Miss Maggie's foster mother a short one? ... Well, my friends from The American Black & Tan Coonhound Rescue gave me a call and asked if I could lend a paw or hand -whatever- to a coonie in need. Ophelia (as she was originally named) was adopted to a couple here in Northern Cal. (they were the ones that changed her name to Maggie) and when they decided that they could no longer keep her, they gave her away to a gentleman who then claims that when he tried to take her hunting she got out of her crate and ran away. Then she ended up in Jail (well, you know the pound) in Colusa, Ca. When they traced her microchip that's when they found out that she came all the way from Georgia, from the Black & Tan Coonhound Rescue. So the very nice people from the pound contacted the B&T Coonhound rescue, from there she stayed with a wonderful lady named Joanne in Colusa and then I drove up and got her. I was only supposed to have her for a week or 2 then meet her new Mom between here and LA but then the new Mom that she was supposed to get couldn't have her right now because of some personal issues. So now here I am with 2 coonies and a beagle (wow, that sounds like the name of a really cool band, 2 coonies & a beagle, I'd buy it! Wouldn't you!?! ~ Well, come to think of it, I hear their "Greatest Bays" all the time! LOL =) Get it, greatest hits, greatest bays ~ anyways ~ I giggled =)

She is fully vetted, micro-chipped & spayed! Just a big lovebug who has a forever home!!!
