I found Max in an Animal sancutary....Well that isn't what I would really call it BUT that is what they called themselves. He was residing in this "Animal Sanctuary" with aprox. 100 other dogs when the place was only liscenced to have 20-30. He had been droped off with some other of his apparent siblings and there were 9 in total. They were all malnutritioned and you could see there ribs and spines. I fell in love with them all BUT was not able to take all 9 and Max's face is the one that jumped out at me as well as his name. So I took this litte guy right5 to our vet and had them take the appropriate measure to get him into shape. He has been a handfull ever since...LOL He is a ball of energy. Now he spends most of his days defending the yard against the very present danger of the giant squrrels that are always trying to take over his domaine as well as making sure we his humans are in a place were he can get to us easily.
