Arrival Story:
I was having a rough time. My younger brother had died in a car wreck, my ex husband was working and in college so I was alone quiet a bit, and I felt my whole world was caving in. I decided I wanted a black toy poodle puppy, and I found a lady that had a pregnant black toy poodle, so I told her I wanted a little black female if there was one. On Sept 4 1995, Abbie was born, and I went to see her. She was the only black baby in the litter, and I claimed her and visited her evey week until she was able to come home with me. She has been my companion and my best friend, and has brought me through some very difficult times. She is my heart dog.

Bio:
Before Abbie was born, while I was waiting for her, I decided her name was to be Abigail, but I didn't know what her "middle" name would be. I thought I'd name her after her dog mommy, and found out that her name was Priscilla Dawn (Prissy for short) Funny thing was, MY name is Dawn also, so everyone thinks I named my dog after myself!! I guess she's named after both of her moms!!! Abbie may be the smallest one in my "pack", but rest assured that she rules the roost so to speak. She keeps everyone in line, and no dog messes with her. They all know Miss Abs is BOSS!!
